Large Plantings:
We have worked out the requirements for an area of 100 square feet and suggest that you apply these figures to all beds over 50 square feet in size.

100 Square Foot Area:
1 foot = 12 inches
100 square foot = 10 x 10 feet = 120 x 120 inches

As a result:
If planted 3" apart: 40 rows of 40 bulbs = 1600 bulbs
If planted 4" apart: 30 rows of 30 bulbs = 900 bulbs
If planted 5" apart: 24 rows of 24 bulbs = 576 bulbs (use 600)
If planted 8" apart: 20 rows of 20 bulbs = 400 bulbs
If planted 10" apart: 12 rows of 12 bulbs = 144 bulbs (use 150)
